Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
