The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, demons, and dark forces expanding in influence within the city.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could help the party reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
